This was an event for all ages, and was organised in the height of summer 2013.
A beautiful Arabian tent was erected with a coir matting floor and separate wooden stage area for the band and inside was styled with a mixture of vintage props, plants and modern white tables and chairs, there was also a lovely white leather chill out area lit with fairy lights.
The delicious hog roast was set up just outside the front of the tent and was surrounded by a seating area of hay bales, blankets and funky lamp stands. So that people felt comfortable with one another, each guest was met at the “reception desk” positioned at the entrance of the tent, with a name sticker and a flute of champagne given by the “boys” who were outrageous fun.
The original postbox was also at the reception area, ready for guests to pop in cards. As the evening progressed the band started playing, there was a vintage ice cream van with Mrs Whippy serving ice creams, a mountain of cupcakes, a photo booth with props, and the finale was a wonderful firework show. It all ended at midnight and WOW WEE what a party!
