The Steyning Festival is a fantastic two week event for the whole community involving literature, art, drama, walks, comedy, music, dance, food and lots more! I organised the party to launch the event which took place on Saturday 10th March at Steyning Football Club Pavillion, which provided a wonderful party venue. We had over 100 people attending and the bar was extremely busy all night!
The walls were adorned with black curtains over which we hung huge original artworks, photographs, bunting, candles, flowers and balloons. The party was a resounding success, with the Festival Chairperson giving an outline of the many exciting events taking place over the duration of the festival. We had quick-fire tasters of some of the plays to be featured on the Theatre Trails, live music and our very own MC who steered the evening’s events.
